GSAT – General Security Awareness Training e-learning solution
General Security Awareness Training (GSAT) is a requirement of EC Regulation 2320. In the UK, GSAT applies to all applicants for, and holders of a full pass granting unescorted access to the Restricted Zone (RZ), except where the applicant or pass holder is already in receipt of equivalent or better training (known as equivalence).
From 28 January 2008 all applicants must provide evidence that they have successfully completed a full GSAT course, or provide evidence of equivalence.
By January 2009 anyone who was the holder of a full pass at 28 January 2008 must have provided evidence that they have discharged the GSAT requirements or their pass will be suspended.
Our complete e-learning solution has been designed to equip non-security airside personnel with the legal requirements to be aware of potential danger, to identify such threats and deal with these situations accordingly.
